As if user GamblerGary's cashout of $10 wasn't enough to convince me that Moola was trouble, I hesitantly joined. If you're unfamiliar with the Canadian site, they give users pennies (paid for by advertisements) to play games of chance against other users to double-up. It might be a hoot for my grandparents, but I won't go back. If you are interested, I will refer you through this link. Keep in mind, however, that this does constitute of gambling, and I am warning compulsive gamblers such as myself to stay away.
I wanted it to be a fun way to gradually win a little cash. I couldn't see that that was just another dream world, not reality. I was getting fired up and said enough. I don't want to see myself blow my recovery over free pennies. What would I tell the Trusted Servants, as we at G.A. call ourselves? I will not fail, but I think I'm allowed to stumble. Tonight, I was shown once again that there's something about the meetings. There's no way that I would have been able to pull myself away from a site like Moola a month ago.
